General Conditions of Sale

The terms and conditions of sale of the products marketed by BARON LONGO on this website www.baronlongo.com are governed by these General Conditions. Any offer, order or confirmation of purchase for products on this site will be subject to acceptance of the following conditions. Baron Longo reserves the right to modify these General Conditions without prior notice to the customer: changes will be made available on this page.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

  • The sale of alcoholic products to minors is forbidden. Users of the website www.baronlongo.com declare that they are of age according to the legislation that applies to them. If no legislation exists in this regard, customers must be at least 18 years old.

  • All retail prices include 22% VAT, which appears separately in the final order summary. Prices do not include any levies, taxes or duties applicable in the country of destination of the products, should these differ from Italy. Such costs, which differ from country to country, will be charged to the customer, who is responsible for verifying the amount with the competent customs authorities.

  • All wines in the online store are generally also available from our main location. (Problems may occasionally arise owing to the simultaneous sale of products from our main location and online: in this case we will promptly notify you so as to modify your order or offer a refund.)

We currently deliver to Italy, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Sweden.

  • We undertake to process your order within 3 working days of receipt of payment.

  • The shipment will always be recorded with a proper accompanying invoice, which will also be sent via email.

  • The cost of each shipment will be added to the price of the products: such cost will be clearly indicated and communicated prior to conclusion of the sales agreement according to the following options, which are valid for deliveries throughout Italian territory.

  • FREE Standard Shipping on purchases of over €49.

  • The prices shown on the website are subject to amendment by Baron Longo without prior notice to the customer. Any increases may be due to increased costs of production, transport, materials or taxation. The prices valid at the time of receipt of the order will apply to contracts of sale concluded before publication of the above-mentioned changes.

  • The descriptions of the wines in the technical notes are purely indicative and will in no way constitute grounds for complaint.

  • While the product images are in general faithful to the original, changes may sometimes be made to the appearance of the bottle (format, label, capsule) without updating the online photo. Any non-conformity of the aesthetic aspects of the product received with respect to the image on the website will in no way constitute grounds for complaint. Other images of our products, e.g. in arrangements and/or with dishes, are indicative and for product presentation purposes only.

GOODS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT

Should you receive a package that has visibly suffered damage by the courier (packaging damaged or visibly stained by the leakage of wine from broken bottles), you may proceed as follows:

  • If there is more than one package, return the damaged package to the sender by signing the courier’s delivery note “under reserve”. We will then take over the procedure for returning the damaged package and replace it.

  • If on the other hand there is only one package (even if this is a pallet), return the shipment to the sender and we will (as above) take over the return procedure and replace the shipment.

In the event that the damage is not visible from the outside and is only discovered by the customer once the package has been opened (e.g. a single broken or cracked bottle), send a photo of the damage to info@baronlongo.com within 2 working days from the time of delivery together with a request for replacement.

Should the damaged product no longer be available we will contact you regarding a replacement or refund.

The shipping costs for returning damaged goods to the sender and for the return of replacement goods will be fully borne by BARON LONGO.
