Winemaking process
Varieties:
A bold blend of Lagrein, Cabernet, and Merlot. Lagrein brings rich, dark fruit and spice, Cabernet adds structure and depth, while Merlot softens with its smooth, velvety texture.
Terroir:
The vines are grown on soils of calcareous, late glacial deposits over porphyry substratum at an altitude of 270 meters on a south-facing slope, characterized by a mild, Mediterranean microclimate
Vinification:
Spontaneous fermentation in open wooden barrels, 12-month aging in barriques and tonneaux on full lees. A light wine with lovely drinkability.
Opinion
Anton Felix Longo
"A fresh, light red wine with vibrant berry notes, perfect for pairing with grilled dishes. Hold & drink later."
Felix Anton Rosso
Exceedingly young, fresh cherries - soft and invigorating.
A sense of youth
looking into the future.
Vine tendrils intertwined with ripe plums - contemplating, wondering.

The 20 hectares of the biodynamically cultivated vineyards of Baron Longo are located in South Tyrol’s south, around the picturesque Castelletto in Egna. The vineyards range from 240 metres a.s.l. up to Montagna, in the Trudner Horn Nature Park, where Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes thrive. The main varieties produced by the family winery are Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Cabernet. As a winemaker, Anton Baron Longo concentrates on wines that are distinguished by their elegance.
